#GunSafetyNow

Gun violence is a public safety crisis in our state and across our country. In 2018 alone, 528 Americans were killed and 1,529 were injured in mass shootings. According to the CDC, 14,542 Americans were murdered with guns in the previous year. All across the political spectrum, we should be able to come together, unite as one, and agree that the carnage must stop.

Common sense gun safety measures will protect us, while protecting our constitutional rights. Universal background checks, "red flag" laws, and holding gun sellers who violate the law accountable in court will keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people while fully protecting the rights of law-abiding citizens.
