SB 369 by Sen. Schwertner requires appraisal to be in all personal auto policies and establishes important deadlines and procedures. SB 458 by Sen. Schwertner requires insurance policies to include appraisal provisions for auto and homeowners claims. 

Some auto insurance companies are trying to take appraisal away in policies, which will hurt you and your family financially. Insurance claims must be paid on time and in full. Please take one minute to tell your lawmakers that we need a right to fair auto appraisal and the right to a safe repair in all auto policies in Texas!
